Accepted formats

JPEG, JPG, or PNG (no alpha channel or transparency)

Requirements

iPhone: the 6.9-inch display is required if your app runs on iPhone -- portrait 1320x2868, 1290x2796, or 1260x2736 px, or the matching landscape rotation. If you don’t provide 6.9-inch screenshots, Apple uses scaled versions of your 6.5-inch set instead (1284x2778 or 1242x2688 px).

iPad: the 13-inch display is required if your app runs on iPad -- 2064x2752 or 2048x2732 px portrait.

You can upload 1 to 10 screenshots per device size. Additional smaller device sizes, 6.5-inch down to 4-inch, are optional and auto-scale from your highest-resolution set if not provided separately.

Common reasons submissions get rejected

Submitting screenshots with alpha channels or transparency -- Apple explicitly rejects these.

Providing only an older, smaller device size, like 6.5-inch, without the current required 6.9-inch size.

Mixing portrait and landscape dimensions inconsistently within the same device size.
